Artificial intelligence is increasingly shaping how people access information, receive healthcare, find employment, participate in education, interact with governments, and engage in civic life. While AI presents significant opportunities for innovation and efficiency, it also raises important questions about equity, ethics, accessibility, privacy, accountability, and the public good. This project invites students to investigate a specific issue, sector, population, or policy challenge related to artificial intelligence and its impact on society. Rather than studying AI broadly, students will select a focused area of inquiry and conduct independent research to better understand its opportunities, risks, and implications.
